Cornelius Brand studied politics, literature and economics in Muenster, Berlin and Bradford, UK. The founder and managing director of Brand Associates GmbH has been working at the interface of economics and politics for almost ten years. He started out working as a strategy and management consultant for the public sector at several large US consultancies and went on to become the director of an economic regeneration agency for the East German states. Since 2004, he has been working exclusively in the field of strategic communication consulting and government relations, for national and international clients in Germany and the European Union. His expertise is extensive, ranging from healthcare and outsourcing to the automotive and chemical industries, as well as the energy and financial services sectors.
