Challenge
An association required an event format and direct channel through which to communicate its issues in Brussels continuously and without spreading loss.
Communication issues
In which format could the key EU Parliament and Commission decision-makers be identified and approached for the discussion of current issues? The aim was to be perceived as a responsible and constructive partner in Brussels, actively involved in health policy discussion.
Approach
To set our client apart from the many events, an exclusive but simple dialogue format was designed for lunchtime. High-ranking scientists and politicians were brought together under a fixed "label" to discuss the various themes. Since the number of participants was kept low, an intensive exchange was possible between politicians, scientists and business experts.
Result
It was possible to establish a continuous fixed brand event format within European health policy. This continued to enjoy a good reputation beyond the legislative period. The commitment of the participating decision-makers demonstrated the relevance and necessity of the event series.
