Our client recognises the relevance of more intensive communication with various key stakeholders. The main aim was more effective communication with NGOs.

Which stakeholders are to be given priority for the energy group's new communication strategy? What are the appropriate communication formats?

 

Approach

 

An extensive stakeholder analysis distinguished between the various parties involved. It was then possible to draft a targeted strategic communication plan aimed at these groups. In addition to direct discussions between the individual parties involved, information circles and a continuous exchange of ideas assured that views of both sides are taken into account. The group is informed about current developments on the NGO scene through monthly monitoring reports.

 

Result

 

The energy company builds a growing "community" within the target group. Conflicts of interest are accepted but are dealt with less emotionally. Through strategically informed communication, the company established a reputation for itself as a reliable communication partner.
